The City of Portland utilizes CivicReady for its mass notifications system to send emergency alerts as well as routine city news. The service sends immediate alerts to City of Portland citizens who are subscribed to the system and have joined a particular group.
All users have the ability to customize their notification preferences after signing up. Alerts can be sent via email, text, and/or phone call so you never miss important communication about news and emergency events in the area. Messages can also be received in a variety of languages. It is important to fill out your profile so we can target notices to your immediate neighborhood when necessary.
